Fido Gets A New Ride

While reading about hurricanes, heat domes, and other planetary revenge, it occurred to me that my car (a convertible) may not be ready to safely transport my pup to safety. But what to choose? How does someone buy a car with their dog in mind?

A recent report recommends the top cars for dogs, based on factors such as 'you can wash it out with a hose' and 'doors won't scratch.' In case you are wondering, here are the top three cars:
  1. Jeep Wrangler  "wash it down with a hose"
  2. Land Rover Discovery "ford small streams up to 3 feet deep"
  3. Toyota Rav4 Hybrid "wide cargo opening to fit a big crate"

Now, we are looking around for those fancy webbing covers to add further internal protection. It needs to match our quilted seat cover. I wonder if these cars offer accessories and upgrades? Yeah, probably.
